Melanie is an expert Adult and Paediatric Neurological Physiotherapist. She studied in Manchester and qualified in 2006 with a 1st Class (Hons) Degree in Physiotherapy. Melanie initially gained experience in a range of acute specialties within the NHS before specialising in Paediatric Physiotherapy in 2010. Within her NHS role, she has gained a wealth of paediatric experience, working at a Band 7 level since 2012. She works with a range of complex patients across a variety of settings. Alongside her NHS role, Melanie also works as a private Paediatric Physiotherapist utilising my highly specialised assessment and treatment skills. Melanie is a member of the APCP (Association of Paediatric Chartered Physiotherapists) and is Level 3 Safeguarding trained and DBS checked. Melanie has a friendly, fun, and professional approach adapting her communication style depending on the needs and interests of each individual child or young person. Creating a fun, positive and relaxed environment for children and families improves engagement whilst working towards their desired goals.
