Lead Occupational Therapist
Charlotte is an experienced Occupational Therapist who qualified in 2014. She currently works as an Advanced Practitioner within a Neurological Enablement Service, where she provides clinical leadership, supervision, and quality assurance for a team of occupational therapists and support staff, alongside managing a complex caseload. Charlotte has extensive experience in assessing and treating adults with a wide range of conditions, including neurological disorders such as cerebral palsy, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson’s disease, motor neurone disease, and stroke, as well as traumatic injuries, respiratory conditions, epilepsy, functional neurological disorder, and chronic pain. She has worked across all stages of rehabilitation, from hyperacute care through to community reintegration and return to work. Charlotte is highly skilled in holistic assessment, clinical reasoning, and delivering evidence-based interventions. Her expertise includes the prescription of specialist equipment, moving and handling, housing adaptations, environmental modifications, and recommendations for care and support packages.
